Memorable Monchengladbach

Pilates Memorial Day Celebration & International Congress in Mochengladbach, Germany.

From May 10-12 another Memorial weekend in the honor of Joseph Pilates was celebrated by an international Pilates Community.

Hosted by Lolita san Miguel, internationally acclaimed first generation Pilates master trainer, people from all over the world signed up to join various classes from top trainers, under whom was our own Suus Wilms from Pilates United.

During the event VPRO reporter Djoeke Veeninga, who had started a search to the history of Joseph Pilates through books, internet and interviews, ended her search in Monchengladbach to find Josephs birthplace, a Joseph Pilates relative and meeting with the Pilates community.
